Four more hours.
By Ross Mackenzie
Four more hours.
Four more hours gripping this angry machine. Sweating in the bitter cold.
Five days a week for six years. Dismantling a forest for 300 bucks a week. So I can pay the rent and feed the body. But just four more hours and it's over for ever. I pack my bag and leave the forest, forever?
Six years of dreaming of pristine pacific beaches, heaving party streets in new Europa. The Mediterranean, Berlin, New York City, nightime in Montmarte, Rio De Janeiro, Phuket, Cali-fornia, ten thousand billion flickering lights in the whole worlds night, mine to finally see.
Dawn tommorow the journey begins, I hope this fire will burn forever.
