Jasper
By wakeupsucka
When it came time to take down the tree that Jasper built, I used the beloved chainsaw he received for his 46th birthday. It seemed only fitting.
I'd buried him out in that field and planted a tree to mark the site. Who'd look for a body beneath a tree, right?
With each section portioned, I can hear him screaming all over again, pleading with me, begging me not to do this, that he wasn't a vile, dirty sinner. I grit my teeth as the whirring blade cuts deeper. It probably looks like I'm smiling.
The wood of the tree that Jasper built burns brightly. I can only hope that the flames of hell are even hotter for Jasper.

I'll need to plant a new tree soon.
