X&Y

X&Y is an interdisciplinary collaboration between two artists from different backgrounds whose work explores themes of sex, gender, auto-ethnography and trash culture. The work consists in live intervention and body-based performance, in which individual viewers in isolation are invited to engage with the dynamic. Documentation plays an integral part in the practice: this archive may take the form of video, photographs or sculptural installation, usually working with found and incidental materials.
